This is an important message from the Houston Independent School District regarding the winter weather situation.
At this time, school will operate on its regular schedule on Thursday. However, we are monitoring the weather situation overnight to determine whether it may be necessary to dismiss classes earlier than normal. Once a decision is made you will be notified.
Please note that all field trips, athletic events and trips, and after school activities scheduled for Thursday and Friday are canceled. Parents should be aware that the power company may again implement rolling blackouts on Thursday that could temporarily cut power and heating at some schools.
