Field Day Reminders - Informacion para el Dia de Campo
FIELD DAY!
Dear Parents,
Field Day is here! It will be held this Friday, May 20, 2011, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. These are some important reminders:
Attire:
- Tennis Shoes (No sandals, flip-flops, or any other type of open-toe shoes).
- Comfortable shorts (no “short shorts” – must be school appropriate).
- Field day or Lantrip T-shirts encouraged.
- Hat
- The school will be selling drinks, water, candy, etc. on this day.
- We will be outside all day, please make sure your child wears comfortable clothes.
- If you would like to volunteer for this event, please see Ms. Jones.

- Zapatos tenis(no sandalias, chanclas, o cualquier otro tipo de zapatos que no cubran completamente los dedos de los pies).
- Pantaloneta o “shorts” cómodos (deben ser apropiados para la escuela, no “short shorts”).
- Camiseta del Field Day o de la escuela Lantrip.
- Sombrero o gorra.
• La escuela tendrá a la venta bebidas, agua, dulces, etc. en este día.
• Vamos a estar afuera todo el día, por favor, asegúrese de que su hijo use ropa cómoda.
• Si usted desea ser voluntario para este evento, por favor comuníquese con Ms. Jones.

Upcoming Kinder Events!
This just in from our Kinder Teachers!
Thursday May 19th- Kinder and First Grade magnet are going to Moody Gardens.
Monday, May 23rd-4:30pm Sam Houston High School’s Theatre Dept. present “Where the Sidewalk Ends: a children’s play based on poems of Shel Silverstein. For reservations call 347-967-7478 or email mgoltzma@houstonisd.org. Tickets are $2. We have been learning about Shel Silverstien and the kids love it!
Thursday May 26th- Kinder GARDEN Show at 5:00pm. Students arrive in costume at 4:45.
